The new A8 is a concentrated high-tech package that confirms Audi's claim to technical leadership - "Truth in Engineering". With the release of the new Audi A8 - the standard length wheelbase - the new A8L W12 rolls out two red carpets. First, the Long Wheelbase chassis (indicated by the "L" on the badge) adds a copious amount of back-seat legroom that treads on most limousines and secondly, the new 6.3 liter twelve-cylinder engine which sprints from zero to sixty in under five seconds. After the launch of the W12, the new A8L will share the 4.2 liter V8 currently available in the A8; an S8 version is also on its way.
