The J.D. Power Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) study is a stringent one. Compiling studies and owner assessments to create a comprehensive understanding of new cars, features and technologies every year J.D. Power chooses one winner for every category. This year Audi has two; the A8 won the Large Premium Car segment and the A6 won the Mid-Sized Premium Car segment.
Some of the feature content responsible for these accolades are found within the Audi connect system. Audi connect allows you to overlay your in-car maps with Google Earth information, search for destinations using Google Local Search (and Google Voice Local Search). Others include the trackpad that will read handwriting in several different languages as well as the ability to turn the cars into a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to eight devices.
All in all, the new A8 and the A6 are the cutting edge of technology with the rest of the Audi model lineup.
