How To Connect Android Auto™ In Audi Vehicles

Before Starting:
Before connecting to Android Auto™ in your Audi vehicle, please download the Android Auto™ app onto your Android mobile device.

On your Audi infotainment screen, locate and select “Phone Apps.” “Phone Apps” is the first option on the second row, under “Radio” and to the left of “Vehicle.”

You will be prompted to connect your Android mobile device to your Audi vehicle via Bluetooth®.

Go to settings on your Android device. Select Bluetooth®, then select, “Pair new device,” and then, choose your Audi vehicle. It should appear in your list of connectable devices as “Audi_MMI_#.”

A pin will appear on your Audi infotainment screen and your Android mobile device. If these pins match, select “Pair” on your Android device.

On your Audi infotainment screen, a Note will pop up, where you can choose to “Accept” or “Decline.”

Next, the Note on use of data with Android Auto™ will display on the infotainment screen. Select “Yes, agree” or “No, end.”

Then, your Android Mobile device will ask for you permission to use Android Auto™.

A Safety Warning will display on your infotainment screen.

You are now connected to Android Auto™.
